The New Yorker Magazine, October 16 1954, the complete issue in nice shape. Mary Petty illustrated the cover. This issue includes the Charles Addams Family cartoon where Wednesday is upset that her school put her on their honor roll. Also in this issue: the writing of Nadine Gordimer, May Sarton, John Sack, Robert Graves, Hollis Alpert, Oliver La Farge, and more. The pages are crisp and clean, without a hint of foxing or any other staining, no writing, nothing missing, tight to the staples, with a 1" x 1/8" piece torn at the bottom of the spine at the lower left corner, otherwise as-new. Strictly graded Very Good; it was put away when brand new (along with many others we have) by an obsessive New Yorker collector from whom we acquired it, untouched since new until now.
