The New Yorker Magazine, November 6, 1937, complete issue in good shape. Constantin Alajalov did the cover.
This issue includes the first publication of the John Cheever story, "In The Beginning." Among the other writers in this issue: Victoria Lincoln, Charles Norman, Emily Hahn, Mark Van Doren, W.E. Farbstein, Franklin P. Adams, Richard Lockridge, Dearing Ward, Robert Coughlan, and Elizabeth Link Petri.

This issue also includes a profile of Ben Stein, known as "the greatest paper-hanger in the world."
