The New Yorker Magazine, January 30,1989, the complete issue in absolutely perfect shape. This issue includes the first publication of the John Irving story "The Foul Ball," which became part of his "A Prayer For Owen Meany" upon that book's first edition a little over a month after this NYer came out. Especially unusual because it has no subscription label and never did- it is not peeled off- and no UPC code. The pages are crisp and clean, without a hint of foxing or any other staining, no writing, nothing missing, tight to the staples, with creasing at the corners. Strictly graded Mint; it is in extraordinary shape, put away when brand new (along with many others we have) by an obsessive New Yorker collector from whom we acquired it, untouched since new until now. We have many other beautiful New Yorkers online now so please take a look. The images we show are of the actual magazine, we do not use stock photos.
